Kevin Sharp is the owner of Green Solutions Landcare and is a Kentucky native who lives in Lexington with his wife Erica, a professional photographer, and their three children.  Kevin attended Western Kentucky University and graduated with a degree in Business Administration.  From early in his career Kevin worked in facility management gaining the knowledge and experience needed in the landscaping industry.  Kevin then spent almost a decade as an Operations Manager for two large landscape companies in Lexington.  Those experiences led him to found Green Solutions Landcare, allowing him the ability to give a more personal and professional touch to every client and property.  Kevin’s goal at Green Solutions Landcare is to offer the highest quality property management while building a lasting relationship with each and every client.

Penny Martin attended Western Kentucky University majoring in Business Administration and Accounting. She has owed several businesses over the years including a catering company, staffing service and an emergency disaster support company. Penny has been with Green Solutions since 2015 and has managed the office and accounting department. She currently oversees multiple business ventures and enjoys spending time with her family, photography and helping build new business ventures.


Brent Berryman was born and raised in Kentucky and lives in Lexington. He attended Henry Clay High School and then served in the United States Marine Corps. Brent has been in the management of several different companies in various fields. About 10 years ago he realized it was time to blend the passion of landscaping with his business side. Since then, he has been stayed in the green industry. Brent enjoys just being able to be outdoors from helping a crew with design build projects or off-road camping and overlanding expeditions. Being able to help fellow employees to grow and learn in this field and watching them achieve new heights is a constant motivator to not only build a business but the individuals themselves.

Mike Sales Manager

Michael Graduated from Madison Central High, and Eastern Kentucky University with a Bachelors in Agriculture Science.  While focused on pre-vet medicine he tried a job in landscaping, and switched all focus to that.  In 2017 he started Urban Oasis Landscape and focused on landscape construction and plant health.  With knowledge of landscape construction processes, and plant variety information a sales position in a larger landscaping company offered a perfect fit.  Michael Became Sales Manager for Green Solutions in October of 2019.  His hobbies include camping, fishing, and traveling.  With a love for the outdoors, and a passion for nice landscapes, he can complete a full package for clients that addresses their needs and plans for success with each job.

Dal Barrett is a graduate of Murray State University with a degree in Marketing and Accounting.  He has been a CPA for 25 years.  He has experience in auditing, management, business accounting and taxes.  Dal understands that a business needs to have accurate and timely numbers to make good decisions.  He loves to see businesses grow to their fullest potential.

Melissa Wilson, a Kentucky native, is proud to call Lexington home. Having received her education at Bourbon County High School and the University of Kentucky, where she studied Business Management, Melissa’s career path has encompassed diverse roles in Human Resources, Accounting, and Management. In 2023, she joined Green Solutions, assuming a pivotal role as the manager of the office, drawing upon her extensive knowledge and expertise to fuel the company’s success. Beyond her professional endeavors, Melissa finds solace and joy in the loving presence of her cherished family, dear friends, and beloved pets. Her unwavering resilience and commitment to excellence make her an invaluable asset, embodying the essence of achievement and dedication.

Serving the GS team as Business Development Manager, Mike is responsible for growing our portfolio of commercial accounts and fostering client relationships throughout the Bluegrass market. He is a graduate of Eastern Kentucky with an established sales background of more than 20 years. Prior to joining the landscaping industry, he was a sales executive for Excelerate Digital Ad Agency where he earned a reputation for his professionalism, reliability and communication. Bringing his sales strategies to the landscaping industry, he is excited to turn his weekend passion into a career.
